About Our Allergy Laboratory
The Virant Diagnostics Allergy Laboratory uses the gold standard in-vitro allergy diagnostics with the incorporation of ImmunoCAP Allergy Solutions.
The Virant Diagnostics Allergy Laboratory offers specific IgE (sIgE) and specific IgG4 (IgG4) assays. Using ImmunoCAP tests and Phadia instrument from Thermo Fisher Scientific, we measure levels of sIgE and IgG4 levels via fluorescent enzyme immunoassay (FEIA). Our test menu covers broad spectrum of whole allergens and components, including environmental, foods, drugs, and occupational allergens. Customized tests and panels tailored to specific patient needs are available upon request. Check test menu for more details.
